Must of the youth in our group are middle class farmers who work for what they have but sometimes don’t have everything they would like to have. So we decided to volunteer at the local food pantry in town. C.A.S. during our time there we bagged food, helped people shop for their groceries, and helped those people who were unable to load their groceries into their cars. During our time there we seen that the food pantry served all persons no matter the race, ethnicity or age of the person. It was a little uncomfortable at first but the more we did this the more we enjoyed it! Also during our time there we seen there was a need for items such as plastic grocery bags, diapers, clothes, and food so we were able to do several drives and collect these items.
