Serve the Lord -- I tried to do this in everything that I did this week. By showing love to everyone, attending church, helping with the church Christmas program.

Be patient in suffering-- I had to learn to be patient with the doctors, labs, radiologist, pathologist while I awaited to hear back from a couple of biopsies that were taken.

Persevere in prayer-- I prayed for the youth at the schools, the youth in our youth groups, the youth in the community. I also prayed more with the church prayer list. And for the “new” members to come to church.

Extend hospitality to strangers-- I took a couple of pies to some new people that moved into the community and also an invitation for them to attend church sometimes.

Rejoice with those who rejoice-- I rejoiced when by test results came back good. I was a substitute aide at school this week, I rejoiced with the children.

Weep with those who weep-- I sat with my Aunt Toni some this week because she had foot surgery. We also took supper to them.
